The funniest and best way for a child to learn new things and to develop as a person is to play. Through playing the children learn new things that will help them to develop their language and kinethetics.

It is not always necessary to buy all the latest toys or games that you can see in the ads. Simple things like playing hide-and seek, talking about the size, shape and color of different things, giving them a mirror so that they can look at themselves or encouraging them to run, jump and climb indoors will be enormously developing for a child.

Let your child be a part of your household work such as cooking and cleaning, just keep the sharp knives and strong chemicals away from the child. Even your daily routines such as washing hands, brushing the teeth and potty training can be made into an exciting playtime.

Children are curios by nature, but as a parent you need to nourish that curiousness. It is highly important that the children are given the possibility to be creative and use their own imagination. When you are shopping for toys or games, educational toys are mostly a good choice. Things like pencils, crayons and play dough are also always appreciated. From a safety aspect, make however always sure of that the toys do not include parts that aren't suitable for the age of your child.

Begin from a very early age to read for your baby. Although the child may not understand all the words in the beginning it is very educational from many aspects. You will be surprised when you see how fast your child will learn through books, and surely the reading moment itself is also a perfect moment to sit close to the child and make him or her feel safe and loved.
